Mobilio is a sensory-focused seating solution designed to support the unique needs of students with ADHD within a classroom setting. Many traditional educational environments lack furniture that accommodates the physical need for movement and sensory regulation. Mobilio addresses this gap by providing a chair that balances support, comfort, and active engagement, allowing students to channel their energy into focus.

Many classrooms lack specialized seating for students with ADHD. Research during the ideation phase focused on biomimicry, drawing inspiration from the structural efficiency of honeycomb patterns to create a stable, modular, and approachable hexagonal base

Refining the design to meet classroom needs. Key features include a stackable frame for space efficiency, an integrated buckle to support toddlers' motor skill development, and a rocking base inspired by exercise balls to facilitate subtle movements for sustained attention

Final Design

The final design incorporates a rocking base that encourages movement through the legs, helping students self-regulate. The color palette is selected based on sensory psychology—orange for focus, blue for calm, and green to reduce anxiety and stress
